    Southcentral Alaska is in the midst of a Spruce Bark Beetle epidemic. Most areas in and around Anchorage are thoroughly infested with beetles. Protecting your spruce trees from an infestation can be a difficult, costly, and not always successful process. Watering your trees regularly (watering recommendations can be found in the plant health care tab) during the growing season is an easy, and essential step to keeping your trees strong, vigorous and healthy. Boreal Tree Care also offers an insecticide application to help further suppress the Spruce Bark Beetle.
